Condition codes (NE, NS, OH, SV, AR)
Condition codes describe the physical and certification state of an aircraft part, from new to as-removed, and drive both price and eligibility.
Common codes include NE (new), NS (new surplus), OH (overhauled), SV (serviceable), RP (repaired) and AR (as removed). Each implies a different level of work performed and paperwork available.
The same part number can exist across several conditions in the same warehouse, at very different values, and buyers frequently specify a minimum acceptable condition on an RFQ.
Condition is a pricing dimension, not a footnote. Quoting the wrong condition wastes the response and, worse, the relationship.
